It's funny how we name nebulas based on what we see of them. Often, they are flattened down into two dimensional images as photographs and if we were really to be able to fly there (someday!), we would find that they are not as we'd seen. It's actually like chasing a rainbow. Yet we see things like horseheads and crabs, and even a God's eye looking at us.
Could it be that the creator of the universe is indeed watching us at all times? How will our first ventures in space exploration turn out? Will this creator watch or laugh at us? Will we be like children? Will we be knocked down or cast aside?
On the art side, I always wanted to paint a spaceship. Okay, mark that off the bucket list. I don't think I'll try that again until I've had a chance to draw a whole bunch of them. So, this might be my first and last spaceship in a painting.
